International 12 metre Yachtsmen's Association (ITMA) embraces the living history of racing yacht designs created by the world's leading naval architects from 1907-1987. These boats became the pinnacle of yacht development at the highest level of international sailing competitions - the Olympic Games (1908-1920) and the America's Cup (1958-1987).
 
ITMA consists of three fleets around the world:
1. Although the US fleet is centered in Newport, Rhode Island, it spans two continents with yachts located in other US states and the Caribbean.
 
2. Most active in the Baltic Sea, the Northern European fleet includes Great Britain, Holland, Denmark, Germany, Sweden, Norway and Finland.
 
3. The Southern Europe fleet includes yachts in France, Italy, Turkey and Portugal.
