The Gulf of Riga is located between Latvia and Estonia in the eastern Baltic Sea, it is partially separated from the rest of the sea by the Estonian island of Saaremaa.
The yacht club in Riga is one of the largest and most modern on the Baltic Sea, just a 15-minute walk from Old Riga on the island of Kipsala.
In summer, the club holds national and world regattas, and in winter and spring, it organizes captains' courses with ICC certification.
The Riga Yacht Club was built and is supported by the Riga Free Port Authority.
