I painted this beautiful and sad girl, dressed in a wreath of poppies, in the second year of a difficult and terrible war with non-humans who want to destroy my country. She longs for her dead friends, wrinkles touch her young forehead, and her eyes, dry because there are no more tears, shine with hope. She is strong, smart, self-confident
She is a real Ukrainian
It's impossible to understand Ukrainian culture without knowledge of folk traditions and rituals, without familiarity with national symbols and amulets. One of these talisman symbols is the Ukrainian wreath, and red poppies woven into the wreath are a sign of memory and respect for heroes
The painting is covered with varnish, decorated with fasteners for hanging on the wall.
The plot of the painting is elongated on the end, which allows not to use a frame
